New York Knicks rookie small forward Kevin Knox says Duke phenom Zion Williamson has a tough decision to make after suffering a knee injury on Wednesday against North Carolina.

Williamson is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. A lot of people believe Zion should sit out the rest of the season to avoid another injury.

Kevin Knox, who has had a great first season with the Knicks, says it's not that simple for a competitor like Zion Williamson.

“It’s kind of a hard (decision for Williamson). He’s a good kid,” Knox told Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News. “He’s a great kid, family. My mom knows his parents. It’s going to be hard for him not to just sit out the rest of the season and see his teammates go out there any play without him. It’s going to be a tough decision. It’s hard. Everyone wants to play March Madness and get to the Final Four, experience that whole thing. It’s definitely a tough decision.”

Duke has yet to release further information on Williamson's injury. Many believe the 19-year-old may have sustained an MCL injury.

By playing again this season, Williamson would risk losing millions of dollars. If he got hurt again, his draft stock could go down and he might not be taken with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 Draft anymore, which could wind up being the Knicks' spot in the draft.

Like Knox says, Zion and his family have an important decision to make.
