Kristaps Porzingis has impressed fans since stepping into the Madison Square Garden hardwood after being selected by the New York Knicks with the No. 4 overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft. While many bemoaned his selection, the Latvian international took to task, impressing with his mixed array of skills on the court, dominating from the block to the three-point line and finishing a close second to Karl Anthony-Towns for the Rookie of the Year award.

Now coming into his third NBA season and with a lot more on the line as the lone superstar, the unicorn released a spot for BodyArmor; the third-most popular sports drink in the world.

Porzingis' ad was created and directed by none other than Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant; who is the third-leading shareholder in the company, fittingly titling it “Obsession Is Natural.”

“Obsession means sacrificing. Working. Getting stronger. Faster. Tougher. Quicker. Always Evolving.”

Porzingis is seen working out at Life Time Athletic at Sky in Manhattan, which has become a basketball hotbed over the last few summers.

The 7-foot-3 forward talked about growing up admiring his older brother Janis Porzingis, who has now taken the role of his agent after retiring the same year he was drafted by the Knicks. Janis enjoyed a 14-year professional career, while also representing his homeland in various competitions.

In a Mamba-like way, Porzingis is only tapping into the surface of his potential, now as the cornerstone of this Knicks team — whether it is by dropping ridiculous numbers during this year's EuroBasket tournament or by looking ahead to carrying this New York team to the promise land.

BodyArmor's popularity continues to grow with athlete-investors like Bryant, Porzingis, James Harden, Klay Thompson and even WNBA/MLB/NFL/UFC athletes like Skylar Diggins, Mike Trout, Anthony Rizzo, Dez Bryant, Richard Sherman, and Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin.
