The New York Knicks will have star forward Kristaps Porzingis back in the lineup against the Memphis Grizzlies tonight, according to ESPN's Ian Begley.

The unicorn had sat out the last two games with a sprained ankle injury. His return comes at a great time, given that the Knicks just lost shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr. for the next two weeks, leaving him with the vast bulk of the scoring load through this December stretch.

Porzingis might have a lot in his hands, given that Hardaway's stress reaction could take a while to heal and it's an injury independent to how a player reacts upon jumping, running, and cutting upon his return.

The 7-foot-3 stretch-four should help the Knicks move back to the .500 mark against a struggling Grizzlies team that just grabbed its first win in the last 12 games in a closely-contested affair with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

While his season scoring average has dipped from a 30-point clip to 25.8 points over the last few games, New York will need to unleash the unicorn at once in hopes to keep this team afloat and contending for a playoff spot.

The 22-year-old only played three minutes against the Miami Heat, greatly hurting his scoring average.
