The New York Knicks are coming off their best win of the 2017-18 NBA season with their 102-93 victory over the elite Boston Celtics. Surprisingly enough, it was not the return of budding superstar power forward Kristaps Porzingis that helped fuel the win.

Instead, the Knicks got another stellar performance from veteran forward Michael Beasley. While many players usually attribute their hot streaks to one factor, in particular, Beasley had a short answer when asked about when he started feeling the hot hand, according to Al Iannazzone of Newsday Sports.

In other words, Michael Beasley feels he has been hot since the day he was born. While his boisterous comments may come as a surprise to some, Beasley has never been short of confidence.

The nine-year veteran has made headlines for some outlandish quotes he provided after signing with the Knicks in the offseason following a string of off-court disputes. Among the most notable was when he said he was just as talented as NBA superstars LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

While he certainly has not been anywhere near the MVP candidate he claims to be, Michael Beasley has enjoyed quite the resurgence in New York as of late. He has now had three games of 30+ points this year, with two of them coming over the last three games.
