New York–based actor and die-hard New York Knicks fan Michael Rapaport is known for his explicit — often filmed — rants about his beloved team.

With the Knicks canning head coach David Fizdale in just his second season with the organization, Rapaport shared a video on Twitter on Friday apologizing to recent ‘Bockers heels in former power forward Kristaps Porzingis and ex-dream-free-agent-signing Kevin Durant.

Rapaport had been critical of the 24-year-old Latvian big man Porzingis after he asked the Knicks to trade him last January. Fans like Rapaport felt KP was a traitor for leaving them.

When Porzingis made his on-court return to Madison Square Garden with the Dallas Mavericks in November — resulting in a shocking home victory for the Knicks — New York fans incessantly booed him to no end.

Durant, meanwhile, was long linked to the Knicks as a “savior” by signing in the 2019 summer's free agency. The two-time Finals MVP's manager, Rich Kleiman, even grew up a New York fan.

Instead, however, Durant dashed Rapaport and Knicks fans' hopes in the offseason. He teamed up with ex-Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving to sign with the crosstown rival Brooklyn Nets.

Today may have been a moment of clarity for Knicks fans, like Rapaport, who have to grapple with rooting for a long-time dysfunctional franchise that cycles through new coaches every two years while top executives, and of course its owner, remain in good standing within the organization.
