New York Knicks big man Mitchell Robinson is a solid rebounder, snaring 7.1 rebounds over just 22.9 minutes per game. His performance on the boards during the Knicks' 94-82 triumph over the Brooklyn Nets was one of the reasons why they managed to get the win.

Robinson wasn't in the starting rotation but managed to impose his will on the game. He finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in almost 30 minutes of play during the team's one-sided victory over their neighbors.

Naturally, fans and the press are curious as to how he manages to get a lot of rebounds against some of the best NBA big men. Mitchell Robinson was asked just that in the Knicks' locker room after the game, and he gave everyone a hilarious answer to his approach during rebounds:

It's funny that leaves it all to chance whether he gets the ball or not. However, it's easy to see why he looks at rebounding this way when you consider his physical assets.

Mitchell Robinson stands at an indomitable 7'0″ with a 7'4″ wingspan. Basically all he has to do is reach out for the ball and he will likely get it. While he is quite light for his size at 223 pounds, he has developed a solid enough form that he can battle for the ball without the need of gaining weight to push people around.

Knicks fans can expect more of the same level of production from Robinson. He was one of the few bright spots for the Knicks last year, and the franchise is hoping he continues to show he can be an anchor in the middle for years to come.

New York may be just 8-24 on the season, but not all hope is lost if youngsters like Mitchell Robinson and RJ Barrett show the proper development as time goes on.
