The New York Knicks' primetime matchup with their crosstown rivals, the Brooklyn Nets, came down to the wire. Ultimately, the Nets pulled ahead after Mitchell Robinson fouled James Johnson and Johnson sank two free throws to win the game 112-110.
Robinson finished the game with eight points, seven rebounds and four personal fouls. He voiced his displeasure with the foul call with a simple three-letter message, which he deleted shortly after.
One angle of the foul in question showed that Robinson got pushed into Johnson by LaMarcus Aldridge. Robinson replied to the video but deleted that tweet as well.

This loss is surely a tough one for the Knicks, who went on a big run in the third quarter (where they usually struggle) to take the lead briefly in the fourth quarter. They are now 11-10 on the season, losing the first game with their new rotation.
Meanwhile, the Eastern Conference-leading Nets improve to 15-6 on the season. James Harden tallied 34 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in the victory while Kevin Durant recorded 27 points, nine assists and five boards.
The Knicks and Nets have brought the fireworks in the games they've played against each other in the past few years. The next time they'll face off is on February 16th in Madison Square Garden.
