The New York Knicks absorbed an embarrassing loss to the Utah Jazz on Saturday night. The Jazz led by 37 points at the half and never looked back en route to a 129-97 win at the Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Utah led by as much as 40 points in the first quarter, and was ahead by 37 points at the half. According to CBS Sports, the 37-point deficit was the second-worst deficit in league history since the league started using the shot clock.

But instead of fretting on their blowout loss, Knicks fans opted to look at the silver lining. The loss was the team's 28th defeat this season in just 37 games. They have the second-worst record in the league, only better than the 8-29 card of the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers.

Knicks fans took to Twitter to dwell on how the loss impacts their future. They once again talked about the idea of getting Duke University superstar Zion Williamson. Barring any major changes and unexpected run in the second half of the season, the Knicks will be in the running for the first overall pick.

The team who will get the top pick next year will likely select Williamson, who is considered as the most NBA-ready talent in college basketball. It is worth noting, though, that Williamson had a puzzling response when he was asked about the possibility of playing for the Knicks in the NBA.
