The New York Knicks pulled off an incredible comeback win from 25 points down against the Boston Celtics on Thursday, with RJ Barrett hitting a buzzer-beater off the backboard to get the victory. While Barrett was the ultimate hero with that final shot, it was Evan Fournier who was a hero throughout the comeback.

Fournier put up a career-high 41 points while knocking down 10 3-pointers, hitting a number of ridiculous shots in the process. This came after the Knicks veteran put up a goose egg on Tuesday against the Indiana Pacers.

The Knicks guard has been a disappointment this season after he got nearly $80 million in the offseason, but he hasn't disappointed against the Celtics, his former team. It's absolutely insane how hot he has been against Boston while being just a guy against everybody else.

Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau needs to pull some Jedi Mind Trick action and somehow make Fournier think he's playing against the Celtics every night. He's basically the best offensive player in the NBA when he plays Boston this season. Talk about revenge games.

Fournier's overall struggles are just one reason why New York is a disappointing 19-20 on the season. He has been a better player in the past, enjoying a stellar stint with the Orlando Magic before getting traded to Boston last season. He shot well for the Celtics but simply didn't play all that much because of health issues, and then the Knicks gave him a bag.

New York is looking to get back on track in the second half of the season. Getting a more consistent version of Fournier would be a big help.
