Kevin Knox is one of the most exciting rookies coming into the 2017-18 season and the New York Knicks' newest star is already in high demand. Puma posted a message on Twitter to indicate their interest in signing the 19-year-old as soon as possible. They also made sure to let him know that they are willing to open up the checkbook for him.

Puma is making moves this summer and they have been especially aggressive in pursuing the 2018 rookie class. The shoe company has already signed Deandre Ayton and Marvin Bagley III.

Knox made a statement at the Las Vegas Summer League and was named to the All-NBA Summer League First Team. Of course, summer league isn't the real thing, but Knox's performance certainly turned a few heads. He averaged 21.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in Las Vegas. Although he did shoot a poor 35 percent from the field, he showed flashes of brilliance.

If Knox does indeed sign with Puma, he'll join a fellow Knick. No, it's not one of his teammates. It's the team's TV analyst and two-time champion, Walt “Clyde” Frazier. Clyde has a lifetime deal with Puma and he may put in a good word with Knox on Puma's behalf. Perhaps Knox will want to start styling and profiling with the Knicks legend.

Puma is getting back into basketball after taking 20-years off from the hoops scene. With the exception of a few guys, like Frazier, it's clear that Puma is prioritizing young talent over all else. They're hoping to snag some of these young players before they turn into superstars. It looks like they're willing to make that bet on Knox as well.
