New York Knicks rookie RJ Barrett remains undecided whether he will suit up for Team Canada in this year's FIBA World Cup, per Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports. The Toronto native has a little over 50 days to decide whether he will represent his country this summer.

The FIBA World Cup is set to commence on Aug. 31 and will play out until Sept. 15:

Barrett has already represented Canada in both the FIBA U17 World Cup in 2016 and the FIBA U19 World Cup in 2017.

The No. 3 overall pick is still getting his feet wet in NBA waters as he gets a taste of what it's like to play in The Association.

However, Barrett has been struggling with his shot through his first three games of Summer League so far, averaging just 11.7 points on a brutal 28 percent shooting from the field.

Barrett had a dismal debut in a marquee matchup against former Duke teammate and New Orleans Pelicans star rookie Zion Williamson, who later injured his knee in that same contest. The Knicks rookie scored just 10 points on a sour 4-of-18 shooting.

Barrett followed that up with another bad shooting night, going just 3-of-15 from the field en route to eight points in a loss against the Phoenix Suns. He did have a nice little bounce-back game in the Knicks' most recent contest, where he netted 17 points on a respectable 6-of-14 shooting in a loss to the Toronto Raptors. He also added 10 rebounds and six assists.

It hasn't been quite the desirable start for the highly touted standout from Duke. With the way he has struggled to find his footing in the NBA, it might be best for RJ Barrett to take things one day at a time at Summer League before deciding on his status for the global tournament later this summer.
