2017 was an entertaining year for the NBA and it will likely be capped off by Anthony Davis posterizing Ron Baker in the New York Knicks' 105-103 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. As Baker did not have any business attempting to block Davis in the paint, the Knicks guard had some time to reflect on his decision.

On Instagram, Baker poked fun at himself as he made SportsCenter's Top 10 Plays, but required three stiches after Davis' elbow:

In addition, Baker had the following to say on Twitter:

For Baker, he handled the situation as best as he could under the circumstances. While all the attention will be on Davis' poster, the Knicks came away with a much-needed win behind Baker's one rebound and three fouls in nine minutes.

Through 36 games of the 2017-18 NBA season, the Knicks will head into 2018 with a .500 record. Although most expected them to lose a lot of games in their first official season of rebuilding around Kristaps Porzingis, they are competitive under head coach Jeff Hornacek.
