New York Knicks guard Ron Baker had to leave Monday night's game against the Milwaukee Bucks due to excessive bleeding brought about by an inadvertent elbow from teammate Noah Vonleh.

Baker was about to get the ball from Vonleh, when the 6-foot-9 big man's elbow caught him on the noggin. This instantly gave him a Crimson Mask. He exited the game with 4:51 to play in the first quarter and did not return.

The dude just cannot catch a break can he? Baker was also the victim of a similar play last season, where he was also cut on the eye by an elbow from New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis.

Davis got a step on Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis and well on his way for a big time flush. Baker courageously tried to stop Davis on the drive, but it was all too late. It proved to be a bad (and stupid) decision by Baker, who ended up with a cut and a black eye following the poster.

Baker, who went undrafted in 2016, reportedly suffered a facial laceration from the play, per CBS Sports. However, he does not figure to miss time due to the injury, so he'll probably be back on the floor for the Knicks' next outing against the Miami Heat.

Baker has suited up for all of New York's four games this season, and is a rotation piece for head coach David Fizdale. On the season, the former Wichita State standout is averaging 14.8 minutes per game.

Let's hope he doesn't get hit on the face again like this anytime soon.
