On Monday night, New York Knicks Ron Baker guard took an inadvertent elbow to the nose courtesy of teammate Noah Vonleh. Despite having to exit the game with a bloodied face, the 25-year-old combo guard still appeared to be in good spirits, even making fun of his own misery.

That's actually quite hilarious considering how much Baker resembled Chucky after the nasty blow to his face.

Baker had to immediately exit the court and was unable to return. It would not be surprising if the third-year guard ends up missing a couple of games as he nurses this injury.

Baker has not had a good start for the Knicks this season. In his first four appearances for the squad, the former Wichita State University standout has averaged only 1.3 points on 14.3% shooting, 1.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 14.8 minutes per contest.

The Knicks have a loaded backcourt coming into the season. Trey Burke, Frank Ntilikina, and Tim Hardaway Jr. are the starters in a makeshift three-guard lineup for head coach David Fizdale. Courtney Lee and Emmanuel Mudiay — both of which have yet to make their respective season debuts due to injury — are also still in the mix. The team also signed shooting guard Mario Hezonja, who has averaged 18 minutes per contest thus far, over the summer, so there is no shortage of competition in the Knicks backcourt.

Baker is on the final year of his current deal, so he will need to impress this term if he hopes to remain in the NBA in the coming years.
