The New York Knicks were one of the most talked-about teams during the 2022 NBA Draft. This was only natural after they made some major moves that will likely have a significant impact on the future of this franchise.

Knicks superfan Spike Lee was in attendance during the NBA Draft and he witnessed everything unfold firsthand. On Friday, Lee spoke with fellow Knicks supporter Stephen A. Smith as the pair sulked in the aftermath of the previous day's trade frenzy. At this point, Spike Lee has one burning question that requires an immediate answer:

“I've never heard a front office where the general manager or president of the team doesn't talk to the press,” Lee said of the Knicks front office. “… We don't deserve to hear what the plan is? We're some of the most loyal fans in sports. Sometimes the loyalty is not returned.”

Well, the man has a point. The Knicks have some of the most unquestionably loyal fanbases in the league, and what Spike Lee is pointing out here is that they at least deserve to know what's in store for the team.

This does not appear to be a priority for the front office, though. The Knicks already announced that they do not intend to hold a press conference to discuss their recent moves, which clearly points to the fact that Spike's question will likely fall on deaf ears.
