For the New York Knicks, their long and injury-riddled 2017-18 season is finally about to come to an end. They will get to turn the page and officially get to look ahead to their 2018-19 campaign with just two regular-season games remaining.

As for Monday night's home finale against the Cleveland Cavaliers at legendary Madison Square Garden, the Knicks declared both center Enes Kanter and forward Tim Hardaway Jr. inactive tonight due to injury.

Via a report from Knicks beat reporter Ian Begley of ESPN:

“Tim Hardaway Jr. (ankle) and Enes Kanter (wrist, back) will not play vs. Cleveland tonight, per the Knicks,” Begley said this afternoon.

The Knicks, who currently limp into their last home contest with a 28-52 record, will still give their fans plenty of looks at the plethora of up-and-coming guards on their roster. New York, who was once 17-14 at the end of December, eventually lost star power forward Kristaps Porzingis in early February due to a devastating torn ACL injury against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The moment that happened, any chance at the Knicks sneaking into the playoffs as a dark horse was immediately thrown at the window.

Who should the Knicks target in the 2018 NBA Draft? Is it wise for this team to spend money this upcoming summer on free agents, or should they wait until 2019 to use a lot of their cap space instead?
