The New York Knicks will start point guards Trey Burke and Frank Ntilikina together, while prized rookie Kevin Knox will lead the team's second unit. ESPN's Ian Begley tweeted out this interesting development from the Knicks camp.

This would finally answer Knicks fans' questions on who will start between Burke and Ntilikina. While this would be an unconventional decision by new Knicks head coach David Fizdale, Burke and Ntilikina could effectively play off each other's strengths and weaknesses.

Burke, 25, is coming off an impressive season for the Knicks. The 6-foot-1 spitfire guard posted averages of 12.8 points, 4.7 assists, and 2.0 rebounds while starting nine games for the team. The sixth-year man out of Michigan has shown improvements in being the team's court general as he has been steadier with the ball on his hands.

Ntilikina, 20, is poised to be Fizdale's defensive ace. The young lengthy guard has all the tools to be a quality two-way threat in his position. Though, it's conclusive that Fizdale is still not that confident in Ntilikina's playmaking abilities as he has slotted the Frenchman to the shooting guard position this year.

Knox, 19, would bring in youthful energy and hustle to a Knicks team still finding its identity in the league. The 6-foot-9 combo forward has the inside-out offensive game to thrive in today's pace-and-space system. A player who has a ceiling as high as Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo, Knox still needs to make his mark on the defensive end.

With superstar Kristaps Porzingis still rehabilitating from the ACL injury he sustained last season, these three young studs should have more playing minutes waiting for them.
