New York Knicks legend Walt Frazier knocked down Kevin Durant a couple of notches in the all-time list due to his sudden move to the Golden State Warriors in 2016.

Much like his fellow contemporaries, Clyde is still unable to forgive Durant for trading the organization than once drafted him for a contender with championship pedigree.

Via Diamond Leung of The Athletic:

“For him doing that, I still don't give him the full credit that he probably would have deserved if he had he stayed with OKC and won a title with that team,” Walt Frazier told SiriusXM NBA Radio. “He's going to be down the (all-time NBA players) list for me because of that. Because there will be an asterisk by his name (laughs).”

While the era of superteams has been largely normalized in today's game, with teams like the Houston Rockets, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and even his beloved Knicks in the search of the right combination to dethrone the Warriors — old timers are still set on their ways, unable to see past the way the game has evolved, giving the players control of their future.

Frazier's era wasn't short of super teams either, but they were assembled through front offices — taking blame away from the players and putting it squarely on savvy organizations willing to roll the dice and pay hefty salaries.

The Warriors are seeing the consequences of picking up such a large tab, as their ability to retain Klay Thompson and/or Draymond Green will depend on what concessions they're willing to make, as Golden State already finds itself waist-deep in the luxury tax.

As for Kevin Durant, he's good at basketball.
