Duke phenom Zion Williamson says if the New York Knicks draft him in the 2019 NBA Draft, he would love to play in The Big Apple.

Zion Williamson and the Duke Blue Devils defeated the Texas Tech Red Raiders at Madison Square Garden on Thursday. Williamson scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the win in 25 minutes of action. Members of the Knicks brass were obviously in attendance.

The Knicks are going to have one of the worst records in the NBA this season, which will put them in a good position to possibly draft Zion Williamson. The stud 18-year-old is going to be a top-two pick most likely and his high flying dunks are built for New York and Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks have to hope they get a high enough pick to select Williamson. A young core of Kristaps Porzingis, Kevin Knox and Zion Williamson would definitely bring excitement back to New York and the franchise. The Knicks haven't made the playoffs since 2013 and have endured five losing seasons. It will be six losing seasons after this year.

Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish are the three freshmen on Duke who put on a show almost every night, but it's Williamson who is the headliner with his jaw dropping athleticism.
