The New York Knicks are in the middle of a four-game winning streak after upsetting the Chicago Bulls, 109-104 on Monday. But it seems Julius Randle still isn't too happy.

The All-Star forward, who's playing through a quad injury, was limited to only five points, missing eight of his nine attempts. He did have 13 rebounds and four assists, as the Knicks improved to 34-42 and remain in contention for a slot in the play-in tournament. After the game, Randle was visibly not thrilled, although the reason was unclear.

According to the New York Post, some whispers around the NBA indicate that Randle will force his way out of the Knicks, in a similar vein to Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden's controversial exits with the Brooklyn Nets and the Houston Rockets.

But some people around the league feel he’s acting in a “James Harden type of way” that suggests he wants a new place of work next season. Randle has lost his strongest ally in assistant coach Kenny Payne, his former mentor at Kentucky who left this month to be the head coach at Louisville. Some NBA sources believe the Knicks will shop Randle for a package revolving around a center if they lose Mitchell Robinson.

Randle packing his bags after this season would be an anti-climactic end to his tenure with the Knicks. While he helped galvanize the team last season, leading to a first appearance in the NBA Playoffs since 2014, other observers can't help but view it as more of an aberration than a foundation.

Randle possibly copying from Harden's playbook won't be the most shocking thing.
