Following the trade of center Willy Hernangomez, the New York Knicks continue to be aggressive during this trade deadline, reportedly still taking calls on shooting guard Courtney Lee and backup center Kyle O'Quinn, as well as trying to move estranged center Joakim, according to ESPN's Ian Begley.

Lee has generated great interest, having the best season of his career with averages of 13.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.

O'Quinn has been looked at by the likes of the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors, both teams looking to add depth in their frontcourt with a team-friendly salary.

New York's venture into ridding themselves of the four-year, $72 million Noah contract is as good as pointless, especially given their reluctance from adding a first-round pick to sweeten the pot for asking teams. The Hells Kitchen native is likely to stay put for the season, barring a dramatic swap.

The Knicks have shaved $1.5 million off the salary cap next season after acquiring forward Johnny Bryant III from the Charlotte Hornets, who will be a restricted free agent in July, according to ESPN Insider Bobby Marks.

New York now has $94 million in guaranteed contracts for the 2018-19 season, but are over the $101 million salary cap, stemming from the $10 million cap hold from forward Doug McDermott, who came as part of the bundle from the Carmelo Anthony deal in the preseason.

The Knicks now have two future second-round picks in return for Hernangomez, a player that was clearly out of Jeff Hornacek's rotation, averaging a mere 9.2 minutes per game, while only playing in 25 games this season.
