Dennis Smith Jr. was shown an edited photo featuring Zion Williamson, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving donning the New York Knicks jersey. His reaction was priceless.

Peep the clip below posted by the House of Highlights. Notice how Smith Jr.'s mood quickly shifted upon seeing the edited photo. He even said…

“Tell KD and tell Kyrie to holla at us in New York City.”

For those who haven't been in the loop, the Knicks trade deal sealed last February involving Kristaps Porzingis cleared enough cap space for at two max deal contracts.

A spate of rumors has pointed to Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant as the two elite players who will fill the available slots. After all, according to the same rumor mills, the two are unhappy with the way things are going in their respective teams. Though they have since quelled the rumors, fans — particularly Knicks fans — still have strong hopes that the two will head to New York.

And the Knicks, who are the worst team in the league, have a great chance at landing the first pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. All signs lead to Williamson of Duke as the top pick. If the photo turns out to be prophetic, then the Knicks could immediately be one of the top teams in the NBA.

Perhaps the bad thing about Smith Jr.'s interview is that he could be slammed with a tampering charge. Though he didn't blatantly recruit the two, the NBA — depending on its rules — could still tag Smith Jr.'s antics as sanction-worthy.
