New York Knicks power forward Taj Gibson took his frustrations out on the rim early in first quarter of Friday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers, posterizing Sixers star Ben Simmons in the process.

The poster came after Knicks rookie RJ Barrett found Gibson wide open in the post — a situation the 34-year-old veteran took advantage of quickly.

Gibson has been a solid contributor to the 4-14 Knicks this season, making 10 starts in 16 games while averaging 5.6 points and 4.5 rebounds in only 15.8 minutes per game.

Despite the Knicks struggles, the roster does include young talent such as Barrett, second-year center Mitchell Robinson and former lottery picks Kevin Knox and Frank Ntilikina.
