If there is one man who knows New York Knicks president Phil Jackson, it's Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. After 11 seasons with the “Zen Master,” he's gotten to know the ins and outs of a rather complex individual.

So it isn't a surprise that Bryant has shared some of his experiences in dealing with the 71-year-old to one of his best friends in Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony.

The Syracuse standout was the latest focus in one of Jackson's random rants, saying the franchise player holds the ball more than he should, benefitting the opposing defense.

Anthony passively retaliated after declining comment post-game, making an Instagram post about the ordeal and later opening up about it.

“Me and Kobe have countless conversations about that,” Anthony said after his team's practice on Saturday, according to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

“That's something I've learned over the years, especially with Phil. He's going to talk. Nobody can stop that. So try not to read into it too much.”

The Knicks star mentioned that he and Jackson had a short meeting Saturday morning, and was ready to move on from the comments.

“I'm pretty sure I might be in a book,” Anthony joked. “Maybe a couple of books.”

“We talked. We had a conversation this morning. He said his piece. I said my piece. Two men spoke. There's not many amends to be made. From my standpoint, there's no problems, there's no issues.”
