To celebrate his 39th birthday, Kobe Bryant challenged numerous athletes and Kendrick Lamar on social media. While it initially included Isaiah Thomas and DeMar DeRozan only, Giannis Antetokounmpo asked for his challenge in which the 18-time All-Star wanted him to earn his first Most Valuable Player award heading into the 2017-18 NBA season.

With social media now asking Bryant for their personal one, he has challenged John Wall to make the 2017-18 NBA All-Defensive First Team on Twitter:

Despite a career season averaging 23.1 points and 10.7 assists, Wall is considered underrated as most tend to talk about Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, or Kyrie Irving first. With the seven-year guard having all the physical tools, he will look to make the NBA's All-Defensive Teams for the first time since 2015.

For the Wizards, they have kept their core intact and improved their bench this offseason. While the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics are considered the top two teams in the Eastern Conference, Washington showed they are competitive and are only getting better.

As the Wizards look to take the next step this upcoming season, it will be up to Wall to accept Bryant's challenge and dominate both ends of the court.
