Kobe Bryant is widely regarded as the one of the best to ever play the game. That being said, it's not easy to impress him because of his sheer greatness and talent. However, he recently revealed who among the current stars in the league he enjoys watching.

The five-time champion named Oklahoma City Thunder‘s Russell Westbrook, Houston Rockets point guard James Harden, San Antonio SpursKawhi Leonard and also Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving as his favorite players to watch today. He was also quick to point out that Leonard reminds him of himself because of where he operates on the floor and some of the moves he does.

“There's three that I really enjoy watching,” Kobe revealed. “Russell [Westbrook], James [Harden], Kawhi Leonard. I love watching that generation. Kyrie. I love watching them play.”

It's also quite fitting that the first three he named are the favorites to win the MVP award this year as they have all been having very solid seasons for their respective teams.

Westbrook is on pace to average a triple-double for the entire regular season, and would be the first one to achieve it in 55 years. Harden is second in the league in scoring and is the leader in assists, which is a rare occurrence. Leonard, on the other hand, has taken his game to another level on both ends of the floor and is considered the best two-way player today.

Given the Los Angeles Lakers great's stature and what he has done for the game, the players he mentioned should all feel honored to get such compliment from him. With them in their primes and being this good also goes to show that the NBA is in good hands as they are setting the standards for the future stars to emulate.
