If you haven't forgotten, there is still an open invitation from executives at TNT for Kobe Bryant to join the show Inside The NBA as a co-host with the current crew.

Since his retirement, Kobe has been silent on the invite, even after Charles Barkley first mentioned on live TV that there is a spot for him, if he wanted it.

TMZ caught up with Kobe as he was leaving an event in Beverly Hills to ask him a few questions, including his thoughts on if he would accept the job at TNT.

Some things may be too good to be true, and sorry to say, we won't be able to hear Kobe's thoughts on the NBA anytime soon, because he rejected the offer with a resounding “NO.”

Without blinking, Kobe doesn't seem as though he ever gave the idea serious thought, nor does he seem interested in reuniting with his old Lakers teammate Shaq on the TNT crew.

He didn't mention whether he would guest host or make an occasional appearance either, seeming content with his plans to grow his company, Kobe Inc.
