An article doesn't do justice when it pertains to Kobe Bryant‘s career numbers.

Bryant has played 20 years, including 16 different postseasons. He has played with two jersey numbers and his career has spanned several different eras. Eras which have included the likes of Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson, LeBron James and Stephen Curry.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend will conclude his career on Wednesday night versus the Utah Jazz at Staples Center. It will mark his 1,347th game played and conclude his record 20th season with the Lakers—the only player in NBA history to play two full decades with one franchise.

The Associated Press recently delved into Bryant's career by the numbers. While many know about his 81-point outing versus the Toronto Raptors a decade prior, it's most interesting to see the amount of minutes Bryant has played and the consistent longevity of his career.

The 37-year-old has played 48,595 total regular season minutes during his NBA career, including 8,646 playoff minutes. His regular season minutes are the fifth-most in history and he has spent just under 40 total days playing in NBA games.

Then just take a look at Bryant's longevity. He has been selected to 18 total All-Star contests, appearing in each All-Star Game since 1998 (there was no All-Star Game in 1999). The Black Mamba has also been selected to 11 All-NBA First Teams, the most in NBA history.

However, the five championships may be the most impressive stat of Bryant's career. Outside of the players from the 1960s Boston Celtics teams, there have been only four other players in NBA history to win more championships than Bryant.

With all of that said, one of the greatest careers in sports history will come to an end on Wednesday night. The Lakers' season finale versus the Jazz will truly mark the end of an era.
