The day after Kobe Bryant‘s NBA career wrapped up with a fitting send-off performance, the Los Angeles Lakers cleaned out their lockers following the worst season in franchise history.

Still, on this day, the focus remained on Bryant. When one of the game's all-time greats drops 60 points before saying goodbye, there's obviously going to be a reverberating effect felt. After all, he was the oldest player in NBA history to reach the 60-point plateau.

Looking back, all of Kobe's Lakers teammates were asked to give their thoughts on the incredible night. Here's what they said, as transcribed by the Lakers Twitter account.

D'Angelo Russell: “I felt like every shot went in.”

Metta World Peace: “He didn't start off hot. He looked like a bum. I thought it was over for him. Then he caught fire.”

Jordan Clarkson: “I don't know if this is real right now.”

Lou Williams: “It was incredible to the point where it kind of scared me.”

Anthony Brown: “It was almost like I was dreaming.”

Nick Young: “He ended with an assist though. He should've ended it with a shot. That's not the Kobe I know.”

Brandon Bass: “To end it that way, they don't make movies like that.”

Julius Randle: “I really wanted him to score 100 points, but he was probably a little bit tired.”

Marcelo Huertas: “He could barely breathe in the fourth quarter.”

Ryan Kelly: “It's exhausting. Taking 50 shots in the gym by yourself if you're moving a little bit, you'll be tired.”

Young: “It seemed like it was made up. That's something you just see at the end of a movie.”

Clarkson: “It was like the best ending to a movie. And we saw it before it became a movie.”
