Tempers flared during Tuesday night's game between the New York Knicks and the Phoenix Suns when rookie Marquese Chriss shoved Kristaps Porzingis to the ground and stood up looking down on him before the 7-foot-3 big man got on his feet and pushed back in retaliation.

It's the second play of the same nature in the past two days, after Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton lost it after an obvious no-call on Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins tackling fellow Kentucky Wildcat Julius Randle to the ground.

Porzingis was aided by his teammates Brandon Jennings and Joakim Noah, showing he's not one to back down from a blatant challenge. He received a technical foul for his troubles and Chriss was charged with a Flagrant 1 foul in the play.
