Through his first two seasons in the NBA, New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis has shown to be quite a unique talent.

In light of that, Porzingis also put on display his ability in another sport as he showed some skills as a wide receiver in a recent tweet.

Although Porzingis may not display incredible quickness, he did put his size and length to great use by making a deep catch in stride. It was quite a simple play that saw him make a grab between a pair of defenders with ease.

This is just another example of the type of athlete Porzingis is with the ability to translate some of his skills on the basketball court to the gridiron. His size standing at 7-foot-3 would tower over every defender trying to cover him while his length increases that catching radius to an incredibly large window.

It just speaks volumes to the type of unique physical specimen that is Porzingis and why he was coined a ā€œunicornā€ by former team president Phil Jackson. His combination of size and skill are simply not common in the NBA. This was just another prime example of what makes him special as a professional athlete.
