DeMar DeRozan balled out Tuesday night, leading the Toronto Raptors to a 130-119 win in Game 2 of their first-round series matchup against the Washington Wizards. DeRozan was feeling it all night long, embarrassing all kind of defenders the Wizards threw at him on his way to finishing the game with 37 points (14-for-23 FG) with three 3-pointers, five rebounds, and four assists in 37 minutes on the floor.

DeRozan’s performance also earned him praises from his running mate, Kyle Lowry. During the postgame presser, Lowry expressed his admiration of what DeRozan was able to put together in Game 2, but he also took a dig at his superstar teammate by alluding how bad of a friend DeRozan is.

Lowry was just toying around there, but really, he should be thankful of DeMar DeRozan, whose performance masked Lowry’s subpar showing. After scoring just 11 points in Game 1, Lowry put up yet another underwhelming output, coming up with only 13 points on an ugly 3-for-10 shooting from the field, which includes a salty 1-for-8 line from downtown.

A win is a win, though, so the Raptors have every right to feel good after going up 2-0 in the series.

The Raptors will play the role of the visiting team for the first time in this series on Friday when they fly to Washington where Toronto is 7-3 in its last 10 trips to the nation's capital.
