After being dropped by the New York Jets just recently, running back Le'Veon Bell has emerged as the hottest name in free agency today. The 28-year-old has been linked to more than a few potential teams, with the San Francisco 49ers being one of them. According to 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan, though, he seems pretty happy with his team right now.

When asked about the possibility of bringing Bell to San Francisco, Shanahan was quick to express his contentment with the number of ball-carriers currently available at his disposal:

“I'm good with all our guys,” Shanahan said via a Zoom call (h/t David Bonilla of 49ers Webzone). “So, even if Raheem wasn't back, I don't think that would change much. I think we've got pretty good depth, and I know we're going to get Tevin back soon, too, hopefully.

“Raheem played (on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins). I thought Raheem played great. I thought he was probably the best football player on the field on Sunday and wish we could have got the ball to him more, but you could tell he was ready to go.”

As Shanahan described above, they just got Raheem Mostert back as of Week 5, after missing three weeks of action due to an MCL sprain. The 28-year-old rushed 11 times for 90 yards in the 49ers' Week 5 defeat to the Miami Dolphins, while also playing 31 out of 46 offensive snaps.

Running back Tevin Coleman is also on his way back for San Francisco, and is expected to return before Week 7. Once his team gets fully healthy, Shanahan will have a number of options available, which to him, seems more than enough.
