Podcast: Have the Rams taken a step back entering the NFL Draft?

Brandin Cooks

Derek Ciapala and Michael Stewart discuss the state of the Los Angeles Rams as free agency dies down. They react to the free agency summary posted on Twitter by Bleacher Report National NFL lead writer Mike Tanier. Finally, the guys consider a mock draft written by the Orange County Register’s Ryan Kartje.

Derek and Michael break down the state of the Rams’ roster with less than a month to go before the 2019 NFL Draft. They look at each position and guess whether or not the Rams are done in free agency for the offseason.

Later, the guys react to Tanier’s comments about the Rams’ offseason plan. Does Tanier have a point about the team’s plans, or is he wrong? Have the Rams gotten worse this offseason, or are they just as talented as they were before?

Finally, the guys look at what the Rams might do with the 31st pick of the draft. Will they take a defensive tackle or linebacker? Will they focus on the offensive line? Is there another position they would like to shore up? Will general manager Les Snead trade back? We discuss all of these possibilities on this episode of Rams Talk Radio.
