The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a two-year deal with No. 42 overall pick center Thomas Bryant, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

The deal will allow the team to bring the utmost flexibility going into next season, where they're expected to make a run at soon-to-be free agent Paul George and even possibly LeBron James.

The 19-year-old Indiana product put up 12.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game while swatting 1.5 shots away per contest during his sophomore season.

Bryant will likely be behind new addition Brook Lopez and bright prospect Ivica Zubac at the center position, as he develops his game at both ends of the court.

The Lakers now boast a versatile frontcourt with an able shooter in Lopez, and a talented, lengthy player in Zubac that has shown flashes of brilliance at the end of last season.

Most importantly, Los Angeles continues to improve their youth while doing so at a cheap price, allowing for plenty of cap space for the summer of 2018 — time in which they expect to make big moves moving forward.
