Rajon Rondo is having the time of his life vacationing in the Maldives after a grueling, championship-winning season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Photos of the four-time All-Star on his much-deserved break made its rounds on social media, and ruthless Lakers fans used this as an opportunity to take a shot at their cross-town rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers.

Rondo will be a free agent in the offseason, and it has been rumored that the Clippers are interested in recruiting the 34-year-old veteran. Lakers supporters are having none of this, and made sure to make their feelings known (h/t Orlando Silva of FadeAway World):

That's enough trashing for one day, I guess. Although if you're in the mood for more, there are a few other hilarious jabs in the comments section of the above post.

Clearly, there is no love lost between Lakers and Clippers fans. The fact that the Clippers infamously failed to reach the West Finals in a supposed “Battle of L.A.”, by embarrassingly giving up a 3-1 series lead in the West Semis against the Denver Nuggets presents itself as the latest of many insults that can be thrown in the face of Clippers supporters. Unfortunately for them, this has the makings of one that's going to stick for years to come.

All jokes aside, though, the Clippers could realistically bring Rondo on board for next season. They could potentially offer him a better package than what the Lakers can put on the table, so at this point, it seems that it's going to be all about Rondo's priorities.
