Anthony Davis left the basketball world in awe on Sunday following his jaw-dropping, game-winning triple lifted the Los Angeles Lakers to 2-0 up in the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets. After the game, LeBron James revealed the only regret he had about Davis' heroic shot.

According to LeBron, it would have been a hundred times more amazing if Davis had made that shot in their home arena in L.A.:

“The one thing I wish with this shot AD hit is, I wish we were playing at Staples,” via Sean Highkin of Bleacher Report. “I miss our fans so much.”

We could not agree on any further with LeBron's statement here. The players obviously miss playing on their home floors, and not even the NBA's commendable efforts to make the crowd-less arenas inside the bubble feel like home games are enough to appease this desire.

As for Davis' game-winner, it's certainly up there with the best of them. The Staples Center has witnessed more than a few big shots throughout the Lakers' franchise history, and AD's series-defining triple would have been at par with any of them.

Both LeBron and Davis were tremendous on Sunday, combining for 57 points on 21-of-43 shooting. They dominated the game for the most part, and despite a terrific last-ditch effort from the Nuggets to make a very impressive comeback late in the game, Davis heartlessly ended their run with that unforgettable game-winner.

Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday, and another win virtually guarantees L.A. a spot in the NBA Finals.
