Lonzo Ball may be best known for his basketball skills, but he recently showed off another talent of his during his brother, LaMelo’s, signature shoe launch. The Los Angeles Lakers rookie proved that there’s more to his impressive basketball game, as he dropped some bars by rapping some lines of Big Baller Brand’s theme song.

Lonzo’s performance comes only a few days after he made a series of comments that criticized rapper Nas. It can be recalled that the former UCLA star said that Nas is already outdated, no longer relevant, and should not be considered as a current rap artist, unlike Migos and Future.

He may not have been able to fully show off his rapping skills, as he could’ve been limited to the lyrics of BBB’s song. However, it could be a different story if he freestyled hi way through the rest.

The event was held on Sunday and was still part of the celebration of LaMelo’s birthday. Despite the controversies surrounding the unveiling of the Melo Ball 1s, the Ball family still continued with its release and made him the first high school player to have his own shoe line.
