The jersey numbers of the Los Angeles Lakers' new additions are now out.

As reported by Keith Smith, below are the jerseys numbers that the purple and gold's new additions, including LeBron James, will be wearing this season:

As seen above, James will be wearing No. 23 — carrying the legendary number he once donned with the Cleveland Cavaliers. This is the first time that he'll wear the number for a different team. To recall, James wore No. 6 when he played for the Miami Heat.

Rajon Rondo, meanwhile, will still be wearing No. 9 — the same number he wore during his stint with the Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings, and New Orleans Pelicans.

The newly-minted Lakers will be joining Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandom Ingram, and Josh Hart — touted as the best young core in the NBA right now. Last season, the group tallied a relatively impressive 35-47 record. With the addition of James, the purple and gold are expected to reach new heights this year.

However, many believe that the Lakers won't necessarily be a championship contender this season. They still need a couple of key additions and rumors point to Kawhi Leonard.

Be as it may, fans better be familiar with the Lakers' new additions and their respective jersey numbers. This might be the start of another title run in L.A.
