There's at least one person associated with the Los Angeles Lakers who thinks LaVar Ball is not a problem.

Former Lakers great A.C. Green recently said in a TMZ Sports video that he felt Ball's statements about the team and its coaching are a non-issue for the organization, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Rob Pelinka, per Josh Martin of Lonzo Wire.

“There’s no issue. There’s no matter,” Green told TMZ Sports. “Earvin knows what he’s doing. … Earvin knows what he’s doing. Rob knows what he’s doing. So I don’t see any issues there.”

Green reminded that Ball is not part of the Lakers organization, suggesting that because he's not, his opinion should be taken with a grain of salt.

“I don’t think he has any affiliation with the Lakers, so he’s not involved with the Lakers,” he explained. “But he has an opinion, and you guys keep giving him an opportunity to share his opinion, and you should.”

While Ball is not part of the Lakers brass, his penchant for controversial statements has to be getting under the skins of Johnson, Pelinka, head coach Luke Walton and even his son, Lonzo.

Ball has already made headlines by saying he thought the way the Lakers coached Lonzo was “soft.” Walton did not address those comments.

It's good for the Lakers to know that one of their former players pays no mind to Ball's antics, but sooner or later, the team will have to address his comments. Watch Green's full comments below.
