The CaruShow was on full display in the Los Angeles Lakers' road game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday. The Purple and Gold's high-flying guard Alex Caruso annihilated the Kings' lackluster interior defense at Golden 1 Center by spiking a right-handed hammer in the fourth quarter.
The reigning champs from Los Angeles executed a perfect give-and-go play at the top of the key, as Marc Gasol located a cutting Caruso. AC, of course, prefers posterizing people over easy lay-ups and he made sure Kings defender Maurice Harkless will remember him after the game.

Alex Caruso even absorbed some contact on that play and probably should have gone to the line for an extra shot. That primal scream after the dunk definitely got his teammates all fired up. The Lakers, meanwhile, escaped SacTown with a 115-94 win. Caruso gave them a huge lift off the bench, tallying eight points, two rebounds, and three assists in 18 quality minutes.
It will be a while before the Lakers get LeBron James and Anthony Davis back from injury. However, they still have dependable guys like Caruso who can give them a boost with his hustle and energy in that second unit.
One thing's for sure, social media will surely have a blast with their Alex Caruso GOAT memes after that emphatic slam.
