After an incredible run by the Los Angeles Lakers to become the top team in the Western Conference with a record of 49-14, the rest of the 2019-20 NBA season has been suspended with no telling when play may resume.

With so much uncertainty cast over the league's immediate future, Lakers players like Alex Caruso have been channeling their energy elsewhere, considering the fact the NBA could be shut down for quite some time. The 26-year-old guard, who has made quite an impression this season in Los Angeles, is going to mix it up with fans for the next few weeks on Twitch playing games like Call of Duty, FIFA, and Fortnite.

With a lot of people around the country and the world concerned about the coronavirus and likely to be spending a lot more time at home to avoid a chance of infection, gamers like Caruso will almost certainly be spending more time in front of their TV in the coming weeks.

Caruso isn't the only avid gamer in the NBA with plenty of others around the league like former Lakers Larry Nance Jr., D'Angelo Russell, and Josh Hart, who also love mixing it up with a controller in the hands. Other stars in the league like Karl-Anthony Towns, Devin Booker, Gordon Hayward, and current Lakers center Dwight Howard are avid gamers as well.

As of right now, the NBA season has been put on hiatus for at least 30 days. The situation will be re-evaluated next month, and a decision will be made on whether to wait longer to get games back underway. It isn't beyond the realm of possibility that the season is canceled altogether as NBA commissioner Adam Silver admitted on Thursday.

In the meantime, Caruso can be found on Twitch playing his favorite video games. Other NBA stars are bound to follow suit.
