Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel believes that superstar Anthony Davis will be good to go in Game 5 after tweaking his ankle late on Thursday's 114-108 victory over the Denver Nuggets. The Brow was once again having a phenomenal outing in Game 4 when he landed awkwardly after a jump shot in the fourth quarter. The entire Lakers nation collectively held their breaths, as Davis clutched his left leg in pain. Luckily for the Purple and Gold, their 6-foot-10 forward managed to walk it off shortly and stayed on the floor for the rest of the game.

Prior to that fall, Davis also had to shrug off a painful elbow to the chest from Monte Morris.

Asked about the status of Davis post-game, Vogel admitted that there's still some concern with AD's ankle, despite him being able to walk on his own after the match. Given the 7-time All-Star's history with injuries in the past, Vogel said they will keep a close eye on his condition and make sure he is healthy enough to play the next game.

Davis, himself, also seems pretty optimistic after the match.

After receiving some criticism for his inefficient outing in Game 3, Anthony Davis once again heeded those pleas and came out aggressive right off the gate on Thursday.

He made his first seven field goals in the first half and tallied a game-high 34 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field and 1-of-3 from distance in 44 minutes. The 27-year-old forward, however, once again struggled on the boards and had zero boards in the first half for the second straight game. He ended up corraling five rebounds in the final 24 minutes, along with three assists and three steals.

The Lakers certainly hold all the cards at the moment with their commanding 3-1 lead, but they cannot take it easy against the defiant Denver team. The Nuggets have proven to be the “Comeback Kids” in this year's playoffs, climbing out of a 3-1 hole twice in the first two rounds. Anthony Davis' health will certainly play a major factor in the Lakers' bid to close out the pesky Nuggets.
