Anthony Davis is already immersing himself into his new home of Los Angeles. However, the newly-acquired Lakers forward has yet to buy a permanent home in Tinsel Town.

According to TMZ Sports, Davis has reportedly opted to go the temporary route instead, renting out an insane $14-million Bel-Air Mansion for around $50,000 per month. The pad reportedly has everything the Lakers superstar needs for his first season in Hollywood – a gourmet kitchen, a bar, his own personal gym, a master bedroom with marble fireplace, and of course, his own basketball court.

While the belief is that Davis will eventually sign a long-term contract with Los Angeles when his current deal expires next summer, he has remained non-committal on what he will do in 2020. Thus, this move of not buying a permanent house yet is just the right move for The Brow.

Davis is reportedly placing his focus on the upcoming 2019-20 season, where the Lakers enter as one of the heavy favorites to win the NBA championship.

The Lakers finally got their hands on the man they have been trying to acquire since February. On July 6, they officially announced their acquisition of Davis in a blockbuster trade with the New Orleans Pelicans. He, along with LeBron James, should bring the Lakers back to relevance after seven seasons of missing the playoffs.

However, their friendly Staples Center neighbors, the L.A. Clippers, have also formed their championship-caliber team right down the hall. The Clips made arguably the best move of the off-season by acquiring both Paul George and reigning Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard.

Los Angeles fans will surely be in for a treat next season.
