The Los Angeles Lakers duo of Anthony Davis and LeBron James was in a jovial mood following their Orlando ‘bubble' opening night victory against cross-town rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers, on Thursday night. The two were caught on camera kidding around, as Davis demanded that LeBron speed things up prior to the two departing for their hotel room after the game.

James was taking his time as he prepared to leave the venue, and Davis was having none of it, calling out his Lakers teammate for his lack of urgency.

It was obviously all in good fun, though, and you could see Davis with a big smile on his face. Clearly, both guys were happy with the Lakers' big win on Thursday.

The opening-night matchup was close throughout the contest, with neither team willing to give an inch. Down the stretch, however, LeBron stepped it up, and came up big on both ends of the floor. The Lakers superstar scored the winning go-ahead basket for his team, tipping in his own miss. The following play, LeBron locked down both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George on the same possession, with the latter failing to sink his potential game-winner from distance.

James finished the contest with 16 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, a steal, a block, and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes of action. For his part, Davis carried the Lakers for pretty much the entire ballgame, logging 34 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

With the Lakers overpowering the Clippers 103-101, this win puts a significant buffer between them, and the second-seeded Clippers out West. LeBron and company now have a six and a half game advantage over the Clippers, and have edged closer to securing the top seed in the conference.
