Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis has been ruled out for the rest of Game 4 against the Portland Trail Blazers due to back spasms.

Davis exited the ballgame after just 18 minutes played, finishing with 18 points on 5-of-8 shooting (8-of-10 from the charity stripe), five rebounds, five assists, a steal and two blocks. The 27-year-old got off to a hot start in this one, as he helped the Lakers mount a huge lead early on.

While back issues are concerning, it is worth noting that AD's injury may not that be serious. With the Lakers ahead by more than 20 points heading into the fourth period, coach Frank Vogel and Co. probably decided to sit AD out just to avoid aggravating the issue and nothing more,.

While it is unsure how this injury will affect Davis' availability for Game 5 on Wednesday, we're guessing he should be fine for that one.

LeBron James had another huge game for the Purple and Gold on Monday, leading the Lakers with 30 points on a very efficient 10-of-12 shooting, to go with six boards, 10 assists and a block in just 28 minutes played.
