Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel says superstar big man Anthony Davis is probable to face the Boston Celtics on Sunday at Staples Center.

Davis suffered a bruised right calf on Friday versus the Memphis Grizzlies. He returned to the game and finished with 28 points and 13 rebounds in 30 minutes. The Lakers won by 12:

The Lakers are 42-12 on the season. They have the best record in the Western Conference.

Davis has played in 47 games this season. He's averaging 26.7 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting 51.8 percent from the field, 32.1 percent from beyond the arc and 84.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The Lakers are 37-10 with Davis in the lineup. He has 24 double-doubles on the season.

Davis and LA will be looking for some revenge on Sunday against the Celtics. Boston defeated the Lakers in Beantown pretty easily the last time these two teams faced each other.
