Los Angles Lakers forward Anthony Davis has now been listed as questionable for Game 5 against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.

It was initially believed that Anthony Davis would be “good to go,” according to Lakers head coach Frank Vogel. However, it appears that Davis' ankle injury may be a bit more serious than anticipated. If nothing else, AD will more than likely see limited minutes on Saturday if it means preserving his health for the long-term.

Davis tweaked his ankle in the fourth quarter of Game 4 after he came down from a jump shot. He was able to finish the remainder of the game as he played through the pain. After the adrenaline has worn off though, Davis may be realizing the level of discomfort in his ankle, causing the Lakers' medical staff to play the waiting game in terms of how his ankle responds before the Game 5 matchup.

Davis posted 34 points along with five rebounds and three assists in Game 4, numbers that will be critical to the Lakers success once more in Game 5. LeBron James is listed as probable after being kneed in his thigh during the game. His injury has been listed as a sore right groin, however.

The Showtime squad is dealing with quite a few nagging injuries from other players as well, such as Dion Waiters, Alex Caruso, and Danny Green. None are expected to be out for Game 5, but that can change quickly.

The Lakers will look to close out the series Saturday night and advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010.
