Los Angeles Lakers power forward Anthony Davis says small forward LeBron James' selflessness never ceases to amaze him.

Davis says James, who currently leads the league in assists per game (11.1), makes it a point to get others involved in the game, something which AD is very impressed by.

“It’s really how selfless he is,” Davis told Bill Difilppo of Uproxx. “Bron really wants to get other guys involved, he don’t really take that many shots unless he has to — sometimes, he takes one or two shots in a whole quarter, trying to get other guys involved. You don’t really see that … you see it when you’re not on the team, but to be in it and to see that he really cares about his teammates and wants everyone to be better around him, it’s something that definitely surprised me.”

Thanks to James and Davis, the Lakers have the best record in the NBA at 12-2. LeBron is averaging 25.0 points, 7.9 rebounds and 11.1 assists, while Davis is putting up 25.2 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love are four stars James has played with in his career. However, none of those guys are like Davis, who could go down as the best teammate LeBron has ever played with when it’s all said and done.

Davis is a monster on both sides of the ball and can score effortlessly from all areas of the court.
