The Los Angeles Lakers were given quite a scare after Anthoyn Davis hit the deck after a jumper in the middle of the fourth period in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets.

Davis seemed to have injured his ankle as he fell awkwardly after a jumpshot:

The Lakers star was writhing in pain, and it did look bad for a minute or so. Thankfully, Davis was able to walk it off, and looks like he's good to go.

L.A. took a timeout after the play, and it is worth noting that Davis did not sit down throughout the game break. It will be interesting to see how Davis' ankle will feel on Friday after he gets a good night's rest. Hopefully for the Lakers, this is nothing more than a minor tweak for their superstar.
